Terms & conditions

The agreement between you and the people running a #HACK India gathering, from the moment you register until the weekend is over.

Effective 15 October 2026

  1. 01

    Who is running this

#HACK India gatherings are run by Digital Missions India together with local churches and volunteers in each city. Every city page names the organiser and the safeguarding contact for that gathering.

  2. 02

    Registering

Register with your real name, a working email and a WhatsApp number we can reach you on. The fee shown at checkout — ₹250 student and ₹500 working professional at #HACK Pune 2026 — is fixed and cannot be changed on the payment page. A place is yours once the payment is verified, not when the form is filled.

  3. 03

    Fees

Fees are non-refundable and transferable, as set out in the refund policy. The fee covers your place at the event, a welcome kit, and meals and refreshments during the day. Travel, accommodation and anything else you arrange is on you.

  4. 04

    Code of conduct

Registering means you accept the code of conduct, and that it applies for the whole weekend — the online calls, the chats and the venue. A city lead can ask someone to leave without a refund where conduct is not met.

  5. 05

    What you build

What your team makes belongs to the team. The ministry that submitted the challenge gets to use what was built for them, and we may show the work on this site and in our reports with your team's names. Nothing here gives anyone a claim over your portfolio, your employer's work, or anything you brought with you.

  6. 06

    Data a challenge brings

Real congregation or ministry data may be shared for a challenge. It stays on the systems the owner approves, is never copied to personal devices, and is deleted after the weekend unless the owner asks otherwise.

  7. 07

    Practical things

Sixteen and over. Bring your own device and charger, and a valid photo ID with you on the day. Venue, timings and what is provided are on the city page; those can change, and we will tell you as early as we can.

  8. 08

    If something goes wrong

A weekend like this cannot be guaranteed: a speaker drops out, a projector dies, an event is called off at short notice. Where that happens our responsibility is what the refund policy describes — a transfer, a place at the next gathering, or a refund — and nothing beyond the fee you paid.

  9. 09

    Changes to these terms

If we change them, the version live at the time you register is the one that applies to you, unless a change is required to keep a gathering safe.

  10. 10
